Dragon Naturally Speaking Review

Many of us struggle with hunt and peck keyboard skills. Many of us use article marketing to get the word out. The problem we face is that we can think and talk much faster than we type. It leads to frustration and aggravation. One tool that I found that vastly increased my productivity is Dragon Naturally Speaking. It is a software tool that types the words you speak as fast as you can speak.

How does it help? I use article marketing to promote products and services and my own websites and blogs. It really tires me out typing thousands of words each and every day. My hands hurt and I am annoyed that I think much faster than I type. Dragon Naturally Speaking does the typing for me quickly and efficiently. Once you train the software to your voice (a very easy process), it is deadly accurate.

Now I get at least 10 to 20 articles out each and every day. I no longer dread writing. My income has really taken off because those articles are getting links and traffic for me every day. Try it out, you’ll thank me later.

Internet Marketing Lessons – Future Directions

Hello everybody!

I am sorry for the less than frequent updates to this blog. I will get you some useful information and updates today. First off, comments on the coaching program. It turns out that this is very hard work. Creating 2 blogs per customer per month filled with great content is pretty time consuming. But I don’t stop there! I also configure SEO plugins and social plugins and other secret stuff to keep the SE’s happy and get the blogs rankings. Then I go to my special social bookmarking accounts and get them links. Then we do some article marketing. Think about it, 10 customers, 20 blogs, TONS of work. Why am I saying this? Well, I think I will close the doors once I get these fledgling blog flippers on their way.

Again, why mention the mentoring? I will tell you. When building a business, it is not always easy to get started. I wanted to help people get started with their businesses. I see that labor-intensive offerings cannot be sustained unless you outsource the whole operation. If not, your own business will eventually suffer because you cannot put in the effort to maintain and expand it.

OK, you’ve been patient with me. This post’s informational part starts here. I have proven that blogs are the way to go. Build them and profit from them or sell them. Problem is, takes a lot of work to get a successful blog going. There is the blog content itself and there is the promotion. After all, you can have the best, most informative content out there, but without promotion, you’ll have a deserted blog.

So how do we make all this easier? Well, PLR will help. Appropriate use of private label rights aka PLR articles will help you keep your blog fresh. Here’s how to set it all up. Simply use WordPress’ post scheduling feature to load up 20 articles at a time and set the posting frequency to 2 days. That will keep your blog fresh for 40 days. Set the posting frequency to 3 days and you are good to go for 2 full months. That effort will leave you with plenty of time to actually go out and promote your blog. You can use social bookmarking and article marketing. Article marketing is easy if you rewrite your PLR articles. One tool I use is Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 Preferred. Basically, it works like this. I read the PLR article out loud while putting it in my own words. The finished product is a completely rewritten article perfect for the article directories. I submit a few versions to the top 20 directories for traffic and links. Well, that’s all for now.

WordPress Blogs VS. Plain HTML – Which Is Better?

I saw a post over at the WF asking which is better, plain html or WordPress blogs. I have some opinions on this one as I have been playing with WP sites a lot lately and here’s my take:

1. Once you get some themes you like and plugins you need, WP is a blast. It is so easy to add new articles to the site without fixing links and such.
2. WP pings all the sites about your updated content – powerful SEO stuff. Don’t underestimate the power.
3. I can instantly change the look of the site whenever I want. Keeps it fresh.
4. Moving the site can be a pain.
5. Plain html is faster.
6. Plain html is a much smaller drain on the server.
7. Plain html is so much easier to move.
8. Plain html allows complete control and backups are easily done.
9. Plain html does not have database vulnerabilities for hackers to exploit.

Well, I hope this helps you decide for yourself.

Made The Switch To Feedburner

I have switched to feedburner to make it easier to subscribe to my blog and to have better formatted feeds. Hope this helps. Duplicate Content Penalty? Let’s Test That Theory Out!

One of the more pervasive pieces of advice floating around internet marketing circles is not to use content more than once. The story goes something like this: You buy an article pack for your site. These articles have appeared on other websites so people say you must rewrite them by at least 30% to avoid winding up in Google’s duplicate content filter. If Google senses that your content is a duplicate of something published elsewhere, the theory is that your website will get dumped in the supplemental listings which are hidden by default and almost never clicked on. Of course this is really bad news for you because you won’t get any traffic. Is this true, however?

I want to see if this duplicate content penalty story is true. I am going to test the assertion out. I will create 10 blogs about weight loss, my favorite subject currently, and I will use my weight loss PLR package and some other PLR I bought from the WF to fill them up with content. I will do some minimal changes like website name, titles, meta tags, order of the posts, little title variations, etc. I will vary the links to the sites and also make sure they appear on different IP addresses. See the section that talks about hosting for a discussion of why I am doing this.

As soon as I set this all up, I will be posting the urls for everybody to take a look. We’ll see if the websites get Google love, traffic, revenue.

How I Made $4000 Easily By Flipping Websites

He has graciously agreed to share with us how he made $4,000 by flipping websites. Exciting stuff indeed, thanks George! Without further ado, here’s the article:

The easiest $4,000 I ever made: How to bring in the money with website flipping

I firmly believe that website flipping is the easiest and perhaps fastest way to make a consistent and sizable income. Like many of you perhaps, I was intimidated by the idea of putting a website up on Sitepoint.com and having others tear it apart until there was nothing left of it and worse yet – no one to buy my website.

The reality is that it was a very smooth process and one in which you too can make big money. I am going to avoid the fluff and get right to the specifics of how and why I was able to make $4,000 selling ten sites in a short period of time.

1. Pick the right niche. I had experience in some of the niches already but most of them were picked through niche research. If you do not pick a good converting niche then the rest is pointless so spend your time doing it right.

2. Build a review site with good copy. I have used Don Davis from the Warrior Forum. He has a limited number of review sites that he sells as PLR on the WSO section of the WF. These have worked very well for me. The copy is effective and converts nicely. There are others on the Forum that also do this but it is something that you may be able to do for yourself. I usually spend between $25 – $50 for the site and getting it uploaded, etc….

3. Get some decent backlinks. I spend about 1-2 hours getting backlinks from creating a free press release, Digg, Yahoo, Blogs, Squidoo, and others. I do this so the site has more of an air of legitimacy to it. Buyers often become suspicious if a site is making money without any links. Don’t spend too much time on this. You will also gain some backlinks from article marketing.

4. Write articles pointing to review sites. This is my bread and butter and the key to making the money. If I am flipping a site, I do not have time to work on SEO … I want quick money and well written articles can bring it in. I have written over 500 articles on ezinearticles.com. As a result, I have learned how to write quick and effective articles that convert. If you are not an article marketer then you can always find a good writer for a real good price. I usually write about 1 – 2 articles per day for a 60 day period. This may sound like a lot but I am able to write an article in about 15 minutes. I average about 1 sale per 3-5 articles. Most of the niches I work in bring in about $40 per sale or more. If I am selling my site for 10 month revenue then that $40 sale really is worth $400. So, writing 5 articles (75 minutes) nets a $400 profit! I will gladly take that return.
