24 Hour Blog Flipping Progress Part 2
OK, time for an update. As you might have noticed, the 24 hour mark has passed without the blog having been listed for sale. As of now, I have 5 unique articles on the site and in a few hours, I will have another 5. By late evening, I should have all the articles finished. To complete the challenge, I will list the site for sale and post the results. So why didn’t I finish up in 24 hours? Here’s what ate up the time:
1) Setting up a new hosting account instead of using an existing one. You might be wondering why I did this. I had several reasons. First, I did not want to expose all the other niches I was currently in. Don’t ask how. Second, I wanted a reseller account so that I could setup each website with its own cPanel and separate email addresses and passwords. I also did not have experience with the domain manager. This ate up hours of work, but now I can do it much faster. I also wanted to offer free hosting for a year to the winning bidder if they choose the BIN price.
2) Finding an appropriate blog theme and installing all the plug-ins for SEO, etc. I got help with the theme by a poster here, thanks. Since website generation is my main experience, I was slow to get these tasks done.
3) Writing all the content myself. I actually know a lot about fitness, weight loss, weight training, etc., so that was not an issue. The real issue was that since I have a family and the kids don’t care about keeping quiet, I had a real hard time writing with all the usual chaos.
I hope that this post is illuminating. I will write it all up in a free report for those who are not actively following the challenge. My next steps will be to complete the challenge and sell the site. Then I will write up the process and create the .pdf for those who are interested. Maybe I will do it again, maybe one per day for an entire week. Then we’ll see if it is possible in the constraints of an 8 hour day! That’s all for now.

24 Hour Blog Flipping Progress
OK, I just got a reseller account so that I can do the flipping easily without using my existing servers. Those of you who have not done any website selling should get an account just for this purpose. If you do, I’ll send you a .pdf of my own marketing plans I use to promote my websites. Off I go to do some keyword research and register a domain. I use namecheap.com for my domains. It is easy to push the domain after the sale.
First edit: I registered the domain name quicklylosetheweight.com for this 24 hour challenge. As suggested by a poster over at the WF, I will be using the Aqua diet theme. It is a nice looking theme and it should yield great results both for the flip and for the monetization efforts.

I Am Going To Make $100+ In 24 Hours Blog Flipping!
OK, here goes. At the risk of looking like a complete fool to my fellow warriors, I am going to submit an actionable plan and let you watch me do it every step of the way. You will see the progress and nothing will be left out. Of course, if I fail, you will see that too 
Enough talk, let’s begin.
This is what I am going to do:
1) Create a blog in a popular niche.
2) Populate the blog with at least 10 articles.
3) Flip the blog over at sitepoint.com.
4) Brag about it here or suffer merciless abuse (depending on the outcome).
I am submitting this plan of action because I hear about all the failure threads and I want to turn the tide. This plan will not require massive technical skills. This plan will not require massive effort for no gain. This plan is repeatable and gets better over time. This plan will NOT work if you don’t!
As I go through the steps required, you can post comments here or on my blog. If you keep all the content here, that will benefit the largest number of warriors.

Blog Flipping – Flipping Blogs for Profit
Hello readers,
First off, let me apologize for the lack of posting lately. The return from summer is always chaotic in my house. It is time for us to get down to the business of making money. Justin, a reader of the blog posted a link to a site that discusses blog flipping. Thanks Justin. I did some research on the topic and I have some observations for all of you.
My first observation is that flipping blogs may in fact be a lucrative venture. There are quite a few caveats and potholes to avoid to be successful in this type of venture. I have decided to go through a complete process for all of you to follow in real time.
Another observation is that blog flipping, like site flipping, is a strategic venture. You can flip blogs and websites without traffic for quick and easy cash, but expect the return to be low. If you play your cards right and monetize cleverly, you can create an income stream quickly and sell the website or blog in 30 days for a significant chunk of change. I think that you need to combine strategies to make money here.
Creating websites with a platform like WordPress is a great idea. The reason it is so great is that using a blog platform for websites allows a total newbie to maintain the website without your intervention. Once the blog is setup, they can add new content easily and quickly. Selling the website entails transferring the blog to a new home, something that stops many potential sellers. I will show you how this is done.
OK, I will test the waters for you guys and you can follow along for free! Here’s how I will do it. I will pick a hot niche and create a blog. I will then turn around and list the blog for a quick sale. We will see how that goes. My estimate is as follows: time to create a blog with content should run about 5 hours. In one day I can reasonably expect to create two blogs that are of decent quality. If these blogs sell for over $150, that means I can make around $10,000/month! That is exciting! If I outsource the entire process, that means I can still make around $4,000/month with little to no effort! Well, let’s see if reality approaches wishful thinking
